To eliminate potential hazards such as insulation aging and contamination flashover of equipment, and to enhance the reliability of power supply in the power grid, we have initiated the insulation renovation project for substations. During the preparation stage, we meticulously identified potential risks and optimized the plan. During the construction process, we applied insulation coatings to key components such as main transformers' leads and busbars, and adopted a mixed insulating oil and heat shrink insulation process to upgrade the protection measures. We strictly controlled the construction quality. After the renovation, professional tests showed that all insulation indicators of the equipment met the standards, significantly improving the inherent safety level of the equipment and effectively supporting the regional power demand. This also provides practical reference for similar renovations.
