Self-Amalgamating Rubber Tape is a general-purpose insulating, self-amalgamating tape basedon PlB(Pohsobutylene) mubber
·Good physical and electrical properties with a high degree of stability under conditions of use.
·The tape amalgamates rapidly when applied under tension to provide a void free homogeneous wrapping,without the need for extenal heat or pressure.
·Compatible with a wide range of rubber and plastic dielectric cable insulation.These include polyethylene,cross-inked polyethy-lene,ethylene propylene rubber,PVC,buty and neoprene.
·Highly resistant to prolonged immersion in water and has excellent resistance to ozone.
·The product can be removed cleanly from most substrates,making it suitable for temporary repairs.
·Supplied in an easy to handle and apply tape form.The product is interleaved with a disposable plastic liner.
·For jointing and repairing a wide range of solid dielectric power cablesup to 11kv.

Oils may affect the elect-rical properties of the tape. ·The rolls should be stored at on their cut edges in the onginal packaging,The product must be protected from dust, heat, moisture, direct sunlight and solvent fumes. Storage temperature between + 10'℃cand +35℃.Under these conditions, the storage lifeof the tape in a temperate climate will be at least two year |
